Since January 6, 2022, Faith In Peace Concerts has partnered with the Franciscan Action Network (FAN) on four successful nonpartisan Faith in Democracy Interfaith vigils, including on January 5, 2025 in Lutheran Reformation Church.
This year, we plan more music based on faith traditions and sacred scripture, less talk, more focus on making January 6 a day when Americans and especially people of ALL faiths can work together to counter growing polarization in America and find common ground. We should seek to reclaim January 6 going forward as a day of hope and unity, not despair and division, despite our differences.
